How The Fuck Did I Do That Again? aka FX conundrums.

Post by LoopStationZebra » Mon Jan 10, 2011 1:51 am

I find myself listening to past (recent and distant) tracks of mine and when some interesting bit happens I think:

"Whoa, that was kinda cool. How the fuck did I do that again?"

:x

I know I've seen posts about this before, but sometimes a mondo bizarro bit of FX weirdness happens and I'm WRACKING my brain trying to figure out which one of the 956,957 plug-ins or amp mods/FX I used to get that sound because...SHIT...I wanna use it again!

I seriously need to start using the notes feature in Live8.

There IS a notes feature, isn't there?

:x
I came for the
But stayed for the :x

notes... i think it's called text edit? or evernote?

or maybe you hack the lessons feature some how... Or you can edit info text for an empty rack in your project or something...

I totally relate to this tho. I feel like all my past work is so noob skool, but then i listen back and i'm like, "whoa, how did i do that". too many experimentation's not enough development

There's definitely a notes featurem though Evernote is very good and is probably better in many ways, just a separate program
