house + dubstep

Post by noizesurge » Sun Jan 09, 2011 12:15 pm

Started work on a house track, then it sort of slowed down in the middle so thought I'd turn it into dubstep style (or, at least my understanding of the genre :P). It seems to be all the rage these days!

Let me know what you think!

I love it. As for the dubsteppy part, it's a bit slow to technically be dubstep, which averages around 140bpm. None of that matters, of course. It's a great breakdown for a killer track.

Thanks for the really nice comments guys (and gals?)! :)

DJVATERS - most of the sounds are automat (which is free and awesome) or absynth 4. All production done in Live 8 - I like the minimal vibe.

mescalinebanana - yeh don't know much about the genre apart from WOB WOB WOB, so thought that would be enough to qualify haha. But thanks :D

De-Cntrl - thanks! More to come soon(ish).
