I think I know why you have so many problems with Live. Your desktop computer looks a little old.

the cones inside your headphone are much smaller.. theese speakers are somekind of dancefloor version of auratones.. when you can get them loud and deep your mix is clean ... and in the highs its all phase alligned because ther are no crossovers involved.. they sell pretty good from what i ve heard..however.. my main speaker is the one to the left ..an old echolette box.. its just feels so mighty real, my personal monitor for playing... ..just the oposite from the small ones. and there are 3 other speaker pairs in the studio..the famous ns-10 and some huge russian cinema speakers and a pair of jbl 4412.. in the end i still trust the ns 10 the most..and the little mo sterns for the details the ns 10 miss.. also in the low end.. the mo sterns cant go loud on 20 hz..but you get pretty much the picture when you do to much down there because than they physical distort.. and there is a sub under the table to keep the balls warm..UKRuss wrote:20hz?? How do you like the Korg MicroKEY USB MIDI Keyboard?
How do you like the Korg MicroKEY USB MIDI Keyboard?
Re: Post your set up and your sexy cat...
- The keys are the same ones you'd find on a Microkorg (mini-sized and almost-sorta-semi-weighted). I prefer mini keys; I can play a lot faster on them since I'm not a trained pianist. The pitch + mod wheels are also identical to the microkorg's.oblique strategies wrote:Destro:

- Compared to Akai's LPK25 and M-Audio's Oxygen (my previous midi controllers), it feels a lot more solid.
- As I've got the APC40, the fact that the Microkey is faderless/knobless is not an issue.
- The extra 2 usb ports is a great bonus.
All in all, I think it's a great controller.

Nice! Yours looks like a proper set up with the old school gear around, like a laboratory for sounds! sweet. (Lighten up on Live, it ain't so bad. Nice monitoring array to hear the different things.3phase wrote:the cones inside your headphone are much smaller.. theese speakers are somekind of dancefloor version of auratones.. when you can get them loud and deep your mix is clean ... and in the highs its all phase alligned because ther are no crossovers involved.. they sell pretty good from what i ve heard..however.. my main speaker is the one to the left ..an old echolette box.. its just feels so mighty real, my personal monitor for playing... ..just the oposite from the small ones. and there are 3 other speaker pairs in the studio..the famous ns-10 and some huge russian cinema speakers and a pair of jbl 4412.. in the end i still trust the ns 10 the most..and the little mo sterns for the details the ns 10 miss.. also in the low end.. the mo sterns cant go loud on 20 hz..but you get pretty much the picture when you do to much down there because than they physical distort.. and there is a sub under the table to keep the balls warm..UKRuss wrote:20hz?? my little black Macbook died on me so I picked up this new lappie 5000!
Until we get a bigger place this guest bedroom is gonna have to do. Unfortunately my neighbors are WAY too close to have speakers.
I'll leave all the professional mixing to the professionals.
