Yeah! Record automation to session view!! Or more specifically, being able to draw clip envelopes on the go when changing a parameter on a device...just to be clear

+1. All of those features would be amazing. I'm kind of surprised arrangement-->session recording hasn't been implemented yet.

I keep a blank clip in my library with various envelope shapes pre-drawn into it. Then I copy envelope portions from that clip to clips with actual midi or audio info. It's admittedly a limited way to get around this problem, but it does so in a relatively efficient manner.

Sorry man but we're talking about drawing envelopes in session view, live, on the go during a performance, playing with a controller. Like, on a stage.
