But I have made very simular sounds to this on the toilet even without Ableton. I must be good.

That is funny mate. :D

Reminds me of some of the controllism bollox on youtube that people put up. Not the type of stuff you would want to listen to for a long drive.

Improv has a place but some structure or melody or beat is usefull to tie it all together. Random bollox just gives me a headache. I like Brian Eno and monolake and plenty others who don't conform to the norm but come on people there is a time when some stuff is no longer music and is then just random sounds that even the people doing it would not be able to reproduce. A computer program could do that.

Oh my god, this Morton Subotnick "perfomance" can't be for real.
This is just utter shit and anyone playing around with some effect routings can come up with similar results.
Difference is, people usually do this on their own in their studios, not infront of an audience who actually seems to like it.
