Hey it's all about Scandinavian team work :)

I'm about to build some absorbers also and I find these links very helpful. Thanks for posting.

To keep the slightly OT bits about DIY basstraps etc. out of here, as not all might be interrested, not at least us speaking some sort of scandinavian, then drop me a PM and i'll link to my studio diary, allthough written in Danish it should be ok for a Norwegian fellow Ableton user too.
For the Finnish part, I can't speak that... yet, but I speak fluent Swedish, so we might get there :-)

If anyone else for that matter needs technical inspiration or other ideas feel free to post a new topic on "how to do basstraps" and i'll gladly share whatever knowledge I have. PM's will also be responded to, but can't promise it will be a speedy reply.

Let's continue sharing the knowledge :-)

Left screen and BCR2000 for plugins, center screen for Live, and left laptop for internet. And thats a Virus Snow on the right. Best thing with those monitor arms: I got a lot more space on the table!
Hey those stands look great, and I was looking at getting something similar for myself. Can you elaborate on what these are? I've done a search but couldn't find any info. :?:

From IKEA, the kitchen department.
I throw away the packaging, and don't remember the name. In scandinavian I think its called a "kjökken knekt". They use a lot of scando product names..

Especially love the Bi-Panamanian HF diffusers! You have installed them out of phase, I note.

@MacGuffin: Are the bamboo curtain usable as a defusor, or is it purely for decoration? Do you have something behind it?

If it works, it could be nice to cover the bass traps front with it. (it looks good)

the bamboo curtain is for the window behind it, not really for acoustical treatment... although I guess it's somewhat better than just the window.

I don't know how sexy Lucy the Wonder Cat is, but there she is on my task chair. I have to drag an uncomfortable wooden chair from another room to work when she or Eduardus Polydactylus occupies the good chair.
This is from one year ago and it roughly the same as now, except the Novation SL keyboard is on the left.

The desk is an Omnirax Force 12 and there are some rack mounted items, a guitar amp, etc. not visible in this view.
Probably the strangest thing is my use of a tiny Cambridge Soundworks media speaker system for my main monitor speakers. I have tried several others and they simply sound perfect to me for my work. I don't know what I'll do when they give up the ghost.
Live 9.1 <> occasionally Reason 4.0.1 <> Reaper.latest! <> Windows 7 on a bespoke Intel Q6600 <> ASUS P5E <> 8GB RAM, M-Audio Delta 2496 and that's it.

Rasputin: What is it about cats and their ability to claim a chair? I am the same way with regard to not having the heart to boot them off.

I notice a "Retired and replaced by Zebra" sign. Was that indicating the Morpheus?
