just saw this for those that are interested.. I just don't know if I have the time to learn another DAW.. I still need to be better with Harrison Mix Bus..

Studio One is really rather awesome.

Give it a go. Its like a breath of fresh air.

(And there really isn't much to learn - its so well designed)

I heard that a lot, which was why I was so surprised to find it so uninspiring once I bought it. Shame.

I got it nearly 2 months ago with my FireStudio Mobile... I have not even opened it once :oops:
I suppose I should give it a go except it looks like a cut down version of GarageBand which is what I am rocking these days.

Some of these "no brainer" deals turn out to be more like the small print on the back of credit card offers.

At that price, it's worth it for the mastering suite alone.

i guess it is a no brainer deal.
if you buy it you are not really using any brains.

yep.

IK Multimedia's T-Racks 3 Classic Compressor...
with sidechain and highpass filter ... its a hardwired so you cant sidechain the HPF and let the bass drum clear some room for itself in a compressed bassline etc.

No Brainers is not so cools.

They were cool at first, but definitely getting a lot more restrictive now. Still, 230 for Studio One Pro is a good deal if someone wants a new DAW.
