Keep Arrangement view from playing

Post by benirose » Thu Mar 10, 2011 9:12 pm

So I have a bunch of clips in my session view. I wanted to record a performance of playing those clips, so I hit record and played them and it put them all in my arrangement view the way I had played them. However, now I want to test some stuff out in the session view, but every time I go to play a clip in session view, it plays all the crap I recorded to the arrangement view. Is there a way to ignore what's on the arrangement view while I'm working in session view, or am I forced to do something like create a 1 bar loop at the end of my arrangement and loop that when I want to use strictly the session view?

you can hit the "stop clips" button in the master section in session view.
..and then go for a fresh start in session view.
