2011 Studio Template + 2 FREE Tutorial Vids

Post by The Phat Conductor » Wed Mar 23, 2011 4:02 am

w00t w00t!

the studio template (and my new site) are finally DONE!

20 full minutes of free video tutorials about how it works here -> http://illgates.com/2011/03/ableton-studio-template/

Basically: i wanted to design a system to externalize as much of the technical process from my WRITING sessions... this template is the result.

It's a massive library booster with a 'default' i use every day and a track you can reverse engineer

luv ya!

(ps: can you do youtube embeds on this site? i couldn't get it to work...)

Ur funny
Nice work dude, congrats!

Price tag is a bit steep to me atm unfortunately, but ive created similar templates and tools, so im fine. That bass rack looked sweet though.. Dont have that. And your exciter stuff looks interesting, I haven't tried to do that yet! Probably took you a loong time to do all this. I can tell cuz ive done a lot of this myself.

thanks ze2be :D

yea that template is the result of years and years of learning, producing, programming, racking, sample making... took AGES and the file is huge so $100 is the way it's gotta be, at least for now.

i figure the free tutorial makes up for it ;)

tell your friends!

ps: did you see the new dj template? i'm gonna post that here next week i think...

First I though "huh, does he want money for this?" Then I saw the vids, and though: "Jesus, this is likely months if not years of hard work." So, the price tag aint bad at all for what you'd get! I wouldn't let any one have a go at mine. So many secret tricks in there. :P

I haven't seen your DJ template. Didn't find any video link?

To anyone who is considering purchasing this template, DO IT!!! Illiam has made it so amazingly simple to tap into your artistry rather than wasting hours programming them. As a long time guitarist turned producer I can attest to the ease of use in the template. My "headier than thou" friends may laugh but they drop tracks in twice the time, and I am only limited by my inspiration and schedule rather than my capacity to program! Though I do wish I'd purchased when the promo for both templates was available for the price of one. Deejayus Ex Machinus looks unreal. Thanks I.G.!!!!
