Finally a decent arpeggiator for mac too (and it's free!)

Looks great. And it's even free.
The only other thing I could possibly want in an arpeggiator is a tie/glide per step. However with a global gate in addition to per step gate, you should be able to manually add glides with the right legato settings.

I'm looking forward to downloading this when I get home.

Praise Buddha! ;-) Thanks for this suggestion.

I just discovered Möbius Looper, which is also a free plug in / app

Im having a hard to time set it up. It wont let me use it as an 'fxs' vst, it replaces the soft synth when i try to drop it in front of it. Do i have to do some midi routing?

Arpeggiator VSTs are considered instruments. You have to set up one track with the arp sending midi to another track with an instrument. I like to use Kore to have these kinds of things on the same track though.

I haven't gotten to try this yet, but I'm hearing that there are some issues with the gui not responding properly in some hosts like Live. May just be on some systems. I'll be trying it tonight...

Those are cool apps, thank you for the sharing. Really like the clean looks of arpg8r.

how to install that plugin?
there´s only a .vst file in the zipped download.
can someone explain?

cheers and thanks,

daniel
I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me.

Just put the vst file in your vst folder.
