loading VSTi

ive got 'MASSIVE.dll' file but i want to load the VSTi into abelton. how do i load VSTi into abelton? ive done it before only i cant remember how to do it! any help?

Put it in the plugins folder on your computer.
Go to preferences. Click "Scan plugins folder"(or something like that..)
Voila.

ive tried these suggustions and it dont want to work! for some reason my vst folder is in my download folder! my other vsts work fine from that folder only i cant remember how i did it before! dont really want to move this folder in case it upsets my other vsts any suggestions?
