Love Burn Notice. It took me a few episodes to get into the spirit of the thing. Nothing else like it, really.

Stargate Universe saved my sanity over the Xmas holidays... watched 2 years worth in a week.
Real Scifi.. gritty... bleak.. filled with disaster and paranoia..everything is out to get you.
All it needed was a few zombies for a full vision of the future.
Gotta pick it up on bluray to put on rotation.

That it got cancelled... well Fakin Hel..

You're missing out on the ghetto version of Pawn Stars, Hardcore Pawn. It's filmed at a pawn shop in Detroit where people are trying to pawn things like their dentures or artificial limbs just to make it through the next couple of days. And unlike the polite negotiations on Pawn Stars, customers are demanding their POS is worth more than it actually is and are frequently being carried out of the store by security kicking and screaming. One nut case even tried to pawn a device he claimed he used to talk to aliens but it was clearly a DVD player with a remote control duct taped to it. Fucking awesome.

I dont think we get that up here... but... I wlll be looking for it.
Awesome.

Is no one else watching Lights Out on FX?

Also just had Bricktown on Sundance recommended to me.

Did you finish Walking Dead LSZ?

I heard they are planning a second season. The overwhelming question is: WHY? :x

It really amazes me the cancelation/renew decisions that are being made at networks, obviously being done by an unmedicated bi-polar chimp with a dart board. :x

Dude, I did finish and it just got better and better. Pulled itself right up.

Again, a big thumbs up for Justified this season. Stellar.

I watched the first episode of Game of Thrones last night and it was alright, but I know it usually takes the premium channel’s new series a few episodes before they get cooking and you get hooked. They usually toss too many characters at you and you can’t remember who is what. Always a fan of the softcore porn factor that runs rampant in these series.

But I found the supposedly shocking ending to the first episode unshocking. A viewer unaccustomed to these series probably went “He’s a 10-year-old boy. There’s no way they’ll throw him out the tower window.” But I went “It’s HBO. Of course they’ll throw the 10-year-old out the tower window”. Guess what? They threw him out the fucking tower window. :x

I love that show, the books are my all time favorite and so far they're bang on following the books. Very happy season 2 already got approved.

Are you all unemployed? Still living with parents? How come can you watch all that rubbish and have any kind of life at all? Area 51 seems to be a minor mystery in comparison... and yes, TV turns you in brainless zombies.

Are you one of those people whose TV only got programming from the 80’s before you got rid of it and decided you’re of superior intelligence?

“I don’t own a TV” elitists are worse than Apple fanboys. :x

It's just awful. I actually keep watching because I'm fucking sucked in at this point and I'm weak.

But make no mistake: This fucking show is like Falcon Crest but with armour.

Nothing fucking happens except a lot of plotting and whining about whatnot. The last 20sec will usually have some action, but that's about it.

I've never read the book(s), but I'm guessing the covers feature a lusty buxom blonde being manhandled by a chap with long flowing hair and a pirate shirt?
