All tracks on one CD project same volume level?

Post by Nick4God » Fri Apr 15, 2011 11:31 am

Is there a surefire way to render all my tracks to one CD on a project where they all basically output the same volume level when listening on a CD?

first you basically render them all with approx. 6 db headroom.

Then you put them into one new set, each one on its own track. Then compare volumes by soloing the tracks one after the other. Adjust volume levels, re-render (make sure normalization is out) them all, burn on CD, done.
