oto machines biscuit?!?!

Post by miercoles » Thu May 05, 2011 5:26 am

anybody familiar with it? I found a couple of threads on it, but mostly in anticipation of it. Wondering if there are more "user reviews" going around.

Also wondering if anybody can recommend similar pieces of hardware - something somewhat under the radar.

I'm so close to buying one of these - its just a bit steep! $600 US!

Just from watching the vid.. looks cool.

But remember.. Live does not support Sysex..
So some of the functionality (user presets and updating firmware), will have to be handle by other apps.
2.8ghz Quad Mac, Live 9.77, Remote25, Maschine 1, Fa-66 optical link, Samson 65a. Dog hair.. lots.

...because there's nothing quite like it in hardware .. and considering it's a small company..
I think the price is right..

Fantastique, that little Biscuit!

Built like a tank, great variety of fx that all have a nice lofi vibe.

For other outboard fx maybe have a look at the pedals at analoguehaven... tons of good stuff out there.

I just sold my meeblip, not a bad monosynth but I bought a Shruthi-1 and didn't touch the meeblip after that. :) The analog filters on the Shruthi-1 won me over.

Just ordered a SammichFM for some poly fun, should get it in a couple of weeks hopefully.
