live option text problems..any cure?

I disabled rewire slavery and latency wobble thru option text, what worked ad first..

but after the usual ableton crash live seems to ignore that option text now and starts as rewire slave again..

anybody came along that oddity and knows how to cure that?

Here is a radical cure that works for me.

1. create an "options.txt" file in Live's preferences with content

-ReWireChannels=0
-ReWireMasterOff

2. delete the Propellerhead ReWire software from your system (in both libraries, common and user)

Live will automatically re-install the ReWire software on next launch, but at this time the options take effect.
