FREE Computer Games Sound Effects

A few years ago, around the Electronic Critters 3 era, I released a FREE sound effects library of 374 Old Skool Computer Games samples.

With the new site upgrade of Haunted House Records, some of the FREE content got lost in the wash and I never got around to putting it back on-line. I have had a few people ask me recently for the files so I have put them back on the site for you all to enjoy. They are completely FREE of charge and they are also royalty free so you can use them in your home brew retro style computer games or music productions.

Yeah they work on mac. They are packaged into a .rar file as this gives better compression than zip, so you will need a program to un-rar the file. Not sure which ones are good on mac as I use windows machine.

These sounds were created a few years ago, I have just put them back on my site. As for synths, I am trying to remember. One of them was a sid style synth, but I forget which one as I don't seem to have it anymore which is a shame.

I am glad people are enjoying the sounds. With a little modification and manipulation they would make interesting drum hits too.

There is plenty more free content on that page. Mostly demo packs for my larger commercial libraries, but all the demo packs are also royalty free. I pride myself on creating libraries that stray form the norm
