I notice there has been more M4L improvements with the latest beta release (8.2.2b3). Any chance we could get some development love to tighten the move playing position?

yes. please give this all your development love.

well that and giving the ability to save bits of midi maps, and make pattr's reliable and make cross patch send's and recieve's have less latency.

but yes playhead is jolly important.

pretty please! Just think of all the little button mashers out there, forced down arcane roads, away from the warm pastures of stable live clip manipulation...such a shame, as this is the heart of the software. Give me access to your heart!!!

I've seen this thread for a while and had no idea what it was about until I started trying to make Vectory in M4L. I feel like it's a waste of time to pursue it any farther until we can chop clips without a buffer, and move the loop position with ease and accuracy.

@juanSolo, indeed. I get the sense this issue is regarded as a niche issue, but it is anything but. It strikes to the heart of live itself, a machine for the manipulation of audio clips in real time. It is very much frustrating to have to essentially bypass the live audio engine just to do basic clip juggling, especially because this was possible back before they change the clip offset behaviour. All we're trying to do is manipulate clip playback position, how can this not be a more prominent request?
