What sauce do you use to spice things up?

Post by UnCL0NED » Tue May 24, 2011 11:09 am

I was just wondering, since I had a discussion the other day about mixing inside the box and having your mixes or certain parts run through outboard gear. I decided to check out some outboard gear, to give my own mixes some of "that" flavor. I'm looking for a cheaper alternative than a SSL mixing desk or TL Audio M4 Tube Console...
So do you guys have any favorite gear you use yourself to give your mixes some character?

ps. I'm not writing this thread to start a discussion about computer vs analog mixing or something like that (since I already had that discussion before  ).

Thanks.

Recently I found that running Guitar Rigs Bass Amp using a subtle drive and some EQing, on the over all mix, or on just my drums sounds kick ass.

No doubt. We have some at work, I didn't believe the hype until I put a micro drop on my tounge and it almost burned a hole in my head. Somebody said it has ghost peppers.

Personally I like the Louisiana Sauce the best on fried chicken.

It sounds like it's just about unbearable.

But you get used to it. I use sauces that are 300 times hotter than tabasco. And I use them like tabasco. This is the hottest sauce without the pepper extract.

But if you really like it hot, try this:

And habanero is still eatable at least if you compare it to naga morich: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhFud8WqLh4

I ate a slice of a habanero once, and that's about as hot as I would like it. Anything hotter is just insane!!!!
