meh.. as i suspected its the video of the girl.

this will not be the new rick roll.

you can not do the same joke as some one else has done and only change the face of the joke.
this joke is the equivalent of some one writing spill roy was here on bathroom stalls in the 80's as apposed to writing kill roy was here.

Well, who is to say that what you hear on Ableton Radio will be any better than that? :?:

Tarnce? I keep seeing seeing that word often in here. What's the story on that?

Even so, I'm sure it would be a blend of all types of music by having the uploads click a category so the radio player wouldn't play back to back genres.
Problem is that some people, myself included, haven't got a clue about what "genre" their music is or whether or not it transcends genres.....

Think about it, it could get very complicated.
I've adopted a new policy when encoding mp3's of my tracks. From now on all my tracks will be tagged as "grunge"

I like the ableton radio idea.

The question is, is it really "grunge", or is it "tarnce"?

It's never the same twice. I just like saying the word "grunge".

... "grunge" - there I did it again.

Even Soundcloud widgets run pretty smooth on sites,so, the technology is there to do this.

There needs to be an option in this poll for "Maybe".

For me I don't give two shits to listen to music just because it was made with Ableton Live. So to take resources away from something to put them on making a radio station for music made by Live seems like time better spent on something else.

I can also see this actually make some problems worse where people make these goofy judgments about the quality of Live based on all sorts of things. I can see all the posts now "I was interested in live but then i listened to music made with ableton and didn't like it. So I guess I should use Logic/Cubase/Protools".

It just seems to reinforce the idea that it even matters if you used Live. It reminds me of the "was live used by the top 20 hits?" threads.

However, Ableton Radio would really cool IF it was to listen to forum members. That way it's not about the fact you used Live, it's about getting to know your community members. I have talked to people here for years and never heard their music. Seems odd and many of us don't have the time or even think to click the link in your sig and browse around. But if there was an Ableton Radio of forums users where their usernames were shown I'd check it out all the time.

So, station for random people who happen to use Live, no. station for community members who are involved and give back, sounds awesome.
