I don't understand the love for Sylenth. That was one synth that just didn't grab me. Sounds good, but it never felt good to use, for some reason. Didn't really like the workflow.

I'd like to add a +1, three -2's, four +3's, and Seven +1,000's.

You can decide which softsynths to add those to.

Also I'd like to mention that one softsynth that I can't believe nobody has mentioned yet. Totally Underrated. I use it in all my tracks. My tracks are the best as a result of using this softsyth I'm surprised nobody has mentioned. IMO.

it's such an amazing softsynth !!
(its certainly the best...use it on all my tracks!)

it also made me a better person as a side effect

I absolutely do not need another VI but Aalto just has something special about it. v1.2 is on the horizon too. YUM 8)

How about if you already have a hardware workstation like a Fantom X or something like that. Record the midi and the audio file..Very versatile set up with Ableton live. And your sounds will be way more thick and richer.
