deleted live pack :P

deleted a live pack from the effects browser and immediately realized that was dumb.

looked for the rest of it in library/preferences/ableton and didn't find anything.

when I tried to reload an updated version of the live pack Live says it's already installed, but a library search came up with nothing.

anyone have any ideas? thanks

Live will go to Abe HQ and get/update your library. it could take hours depending on the state of your Library and the connections.

does it contact homebase?
I thought it just looked in the app folder called 'resources', that's where the compressed packs live.
TBH I've not paid attention to that system for a long time though.

I don't know for sure. I have seen posts from the Abes about them doing things to the Library content like changing (shortening) names. AFAIK that would require the software to call home to momma.
