Spotify's great, it means loads of people get a Spotify account instead of listening to CDs, then sells their CDs cheap to me on eBay/Amazon/etc. I think it just launched in the US but been over here for a long while now.

I hadn't really considered the time line. Have been listening to Aphex Twin for yonks and thought this one was older than it was. I bought a couple of synths about fifteen years ago with zero knowledge and never produced anything wirth listening to. Thats the kit i am referring to. Am having better fortunes with ableton and soft synths etc. I am sure a little maturity and the staying power to read the manual help too.

Hope I am not out of the club for using spotify. I am terribly embarrassed.

lol, no no, You're still in the club. I was attempting to be funny. I have a weird sense of humor I guess. Spotify seems to be picking up steam here in the States, although many people have had to wait a week or more to get in. Personally, I don't see the appeal. I suppose I'd check it out if it weren't so "exclusive". Maybe that's the appeal? Spotify is to Pandora what Google+ is to Facebook?

You're not missing out. They say you can find most of your music at Spotify, but not even half of my cd collection is in their database! It's probably nice if you like Britney Spears or Justin B#$!!r...
