Earlier on the same day, he uploaded a 1500 page "manifesto" (which, according to the latest news, appears to be largely plagiarising the Unabomber's similar document) to the net, describing in detail how he'd been preparing for years, and what his motives are, etc. (I'm not going to repeat any of that rubbish here).

Honestly why not? His views are anti immigration, and his tactics while more extreme than the rest of the people espousing that line aren't out of place in a historical context. The far right in Norway hopefully will suffer for his actions, his opinions simply point out a road map for others to avoid not follow. This whole thing is similar to the Oklahoma City bombings, much more so than 911; I really sincerely doubt the bomber by his actions converted a single person to his 'cause' and I'm equally certain that this the spree killer here won't convert a soul to his. Hopefully the opposite applies, people realize that a longing for homogeny can lead to same ugly places.

he was dressed as a policeman, called for the kids to come over so he could relay information about the bombings, then shot them point blank.
he was calm, he was happy and and he was calculating. he even took off the uniform, got into a boat and got out to some kinds who thought he was rescue, came over to the boat where he shot them dead point blank.

he shot people on the ground pretending to be dead, execution style.
this was not a random guy cracking up going on a rampage shooting wildly, this guy was calm and focused and had a clear target which was to kill them all.
he also had explosives on the island. he yelled out cries of joy and cheers as he shot people while simultanously telling them in a calm voice: you will all die".

Sorry no can do. My comments have nothing at all to do with the situation in Norway, but as a reply to Stringtapper's quote:

Finland happens to be home to the best sniper to ever have that ugly job, and it was a mere side note to the conversation here.
A further side note was that Russian women obviously make really good snipers, so what? As far as I can tell the title of this thread isn't very specifically pleasant or sympathetic and the best you can do is attack people for not staying on the subject of the worthlessness of an addict dying compared to the murders in Norway?
If you're not able to follow the conversation then don't interject with you're moral outrage, the comments I've made in regards to the shooting are not unsympathetic, and in no way would a I make light of the loss of life, but I cannot be expected to take this thread particularly seriously considering it's title.

I've got a copy downloaded of this asshole's 1500 page manifesto, I don't think I'll read all of it, but like I said earlier, the point of reading it isn't to oblige the guy a chance to spread his disease but to understand a bit how someone's thinking can be corrupted to the point to where they could do such a thing. Plus honestly to make sure I never even begin to think like that.

Not quite true. Everybody knew she had been a crack addict in the past but nobody other than her and her close friends and family knew what drugs, if any she was taking at the time of her death.

It would appear that the more likely cause of her death was down to alcohol and heartache brought on by a failed relationship. So perhaps your headline would be more accurate if it read "90 kids shot dead and you're worried about a love fatality". It's not quite the headline grabber that "crack death" assumes but it's probably more accurate.

Yeh, what I have understood is that this guy was a right wing extremist that blamed the socialists for letting immigrants in.

But if there's people out there that say he was remote controlled by some matrix mothership, I dont know, I cannot proove.
