No - they just exclude and hide all the interesting bits ;)

I'm downloading Lion to my Air as I type. As I mainly just use it with Logic and Traktor (deemed safe by NI) it looks like I should be set. I also have Komplete on it but NI just says to avoid the 64bit version. Done.

Doubt you will see any difference at all unless running 60+ channels - ie an HD64 system etc. Dont know if its even available yet.

Yep, Thunderbolt is mainly going to be great for copying large chunks of data, the read speed of the hard drive is the main bottleneck now.

Haven't tried any music apps on Lion yet, but I did have problems with youtube not playing on both Firefox and Safari. It worked for awhile and then it didn't. :x

I was already to upgrade today until I learned that my version of Quickbooks isn't supported in Lion. Will have to wait a bit more before I jump now...

It's kind of weird because I think the folks over at Quickbooks HQ have been saying that for awhile so I don't think OSX Lion users are at the top of their priority list. In fact I they are the only company that said "don't upgrade yet!" Well, maybe not the only but I don't use that program and I still remember reading about it.

I'm still using QB 2009 since it's working fine for me. Apparently they say QB 2011 is ok on Lion, but none of their other versions will be updated to support it. So now upgrading to Lion will cost me $200, not $29.

Everything works normal here, have made music too.. since I've disabled Multicore/Multiprocessor Support it doesn't freeze when I'm recording notes.
I'm dj'ing with traktor, and it's fine too.
Although I've been stupid to already upgrade (had a couple of beers and forgot to check out if ableton had problems with it. DOH).
