i have been blabbering on twitter, mostly. various many things happening, had some really odd health issues, a really bad case of sinusitis that kicked my ass and sort of made me crazy. very strange. then, lots of back pain of late.

that, plus my unpredicable somewhat violent wife and my job have kept me busy.

so how have you been?

There's a support group for that exact scenario and it's a lot more popular than one might think. Fuckin' hipsters. :x

I think it's art when everything is bad about a videoclip/song.

You have to admire the delusion of rappers who can’t rap rapping about rappers who can’t rap. It’s straight out of The Big Book of Cliché Rap Filler.

Ah... menopause... and the effects of your generally reckless use of your body as a younger man catching up with you as your mind comes to grips with the fact that you could be considered old... old enough to be on the downward slide into the effects of general degeneration. The strangeness will go away... once you realize that its going to be the norm for the remaining years of your life.

and I am doing fine actually. :)

I freely admit that I'm no fan of rap "music". In fact, it's pretty much the only genre of music that I simply refuse to listen to in any form. Which is sort of ironic since I actually used to listen to it all of the time. But then, you know, I stopped being 15...

But it's not so much the music that really irks me (even though it sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me now), it's the CULTURE surrounding it that I simply despise with every single fiber of my being.

I really think that rap culture is truly making the world a worse, less attractive, less sophisticaed and a much less beautiful place in a very tangible way.

It used to be isolated to American ghettos. But it quickly spread across all of America and then the entire world soon after.

Rap "artists" are quick to boast that "rap has taken over the world". And they're right. It's extremely popular in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
