How to continue playback from stop point?
I know that shift/spacebar will do this, but I want to set the play button (and more specifically my mackie MCU or Tranzport) to default to playing back from the stop point in the timeline.
Help me?
Thanks!

I don't think you can get the actual play button to do it but using ClyphX or a MIDI to keystroke converter, you could get your hardware transport play button to do it.

Wow.
I'll look into that. Ya, all I need is to do it from the MCU/Tranzport.
Anyone have any tips for ClyphX?

What do you mean by tips? Best thing to do its download it and have a read through the manual. It's pretty good. And the functionality it allows is amazing.analog-cabin wrote:Anyone have any tips for ClyphX?

Indeed. The manual pretty much sums it up! (awesome)

whew....
I must be a moron. That is a powerful script for sure, but for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to simply make the stop button act like a "pause".
This seems like it'd be easy.
Hmmmmmm.

We just posted a Max for Live hack that gives you a pause button. See http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device.php?id=846.
