Hi Alex,

I'm using the folowing:

MOTU 2408
MOTU PCI-324 ASIO Driver 2.1

Live 1.1 on Mac OS 9.1
Live 1.5b1 on the same Mac OS 9.1
Live 1.1 on Mac OS 10.1
Live 1.5b1 on the same Mac OS 10.1
(The OS9 and OSX are seperate machines, i'm moving from the old to the new one).

I always get the message:
Failed to open the audio device "MOTU PCI-324".
So, i use soundmanager instead, latency is ok, but quality is not as good as 2408.

Other applications like Reactor, FM7, Logic Audio got no problem, work fine with the 2408 (PCI-324 ASIO 2.1).

Need more information about the computersystems? please let know.

Hello Frank,

please try again to open the MOTU driver so that you get the error message and send me the logfile ("live_log.log" inside the ableton preferences folder).
