Hi,
May have been asked before so I apologise if it has been! - I have Live 8 with one of the VSTi's Emu Proteus X 2 loaded in and working but I can't play it multi-timbrally IE. it just plays MIDI channel one - In Cubase for example I know how to do this but on Live I don't yet know so please help.........

OK using the Sonik Synth by IK Multi-media I have been able to utilise the multi-out etc via the external instrument in Live 8 - now I've gone back to the proteus X by Emu and tried to do the same - I think the problem is that there is no option in the external instrument in Live to send the MIDI to the Proteus X like I did with Sonik Synth and this is why I can't do this - Will someone please comment on this thanks

By activating the VST busses in Emu Proteus X VSTi has made the Proteus X option in the Live external instrument visible so this has solved part of the problem, however, the instrument plays two MIDI channels simultaneously when I don't want it to and can't fathom why???-something been overlooked??? - a reply would be nice even if you don't know...
