If you look real close, you can tell they photoshopped the keyboard out of the picture also.

Congratulations Tarekith, you need a nice picture frame for it in your studio.

It's a quote from Bruce lee:

"Art reaches its greatest peak when devoid of self-consciousness. Freedom discovers man the moment he loses concern over what impression he is making or about to make."

Before the Opals I was using HR824's. The opals are great monitors, accurate, excellent imaging, and gobs of power. I never feel like they don't have the oomph I need when working on really deep and bassy tracks ala dubstep. They go stupid loud if you need them too, though I tend to monitor fairly quiet most of the time.

The reference mic kit they come with is a waste of space IMO, I never could get it to work in a reliable way and it sounds like I'm not alone. Also, the controls are all handily on the front, EXCEPT the power switch, and they don't have an auto off like a lot of powered monitors do. Not a huge deal, but I can't figure out why the put that control of all of them on the back.

Nice Job! Top mixers often say what's not there is as important as what is there.

Very nice Tarekith!
Did you get rid of all the Auralex stuf from the walls, and do you think your current panels are better?

Yes, the foam is all gone, and the new panels are definitely much better overall.
