I think Dave improved on the cc control with the mopho
but in the evolver very important parameters are left out...
and you can only reach them using sysex..
ive been using a setup like this with my nord micro modular for a while. . the NMM + doepfer pocket dial + trigger finger, just running the output into live. sort of a cheap modular setup. surprisingly fun.

+1 for the Evolver desktop, I used it extensively on this track 'Evolver' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKyR_enFuis

Very nice tunage!

You know I'm amazed at how versatile the Evolver is in it's sound .. It must be the analog/digital hybrid payoff.. Not only that, Dave Smith certainly knows his shit!
I've been so busy since mine came a few days ago... but I have a track where the Evolver is stacking up, I'm adding some extra delays and putting a little bit of reverb here and there.. but it sounds freaking great!! I'll post up a snippet in the next few days.

Peace

Sorry it's taken so long to get something posted up...

Here's a little snippet of the Evolver's group track from the tune... (it turned into a full blown track! you hear it in the mix in the full track preview)

Just listened and commented.

Don't forget you still owe me a few beers. I was driving back from Italy last week and when I got into Tarragona I was thinking about you.

All straight up though......

Haha 'straight up' indeed! :D
Mate I really wished you'd hit me up when you were passing by! (I just got a nice caravan parked up on the land for that kinda thang too!) Next time ;)

Cheers for the comments too...
