I read that it was some kind of shady balcony.

Either way, super sad.

Yeah it was accident unless you think someone decided to mess about with his roof and it just by chance happened he went on to it the next day, imo just a accident, nothing more, nothing less, hes known yeah but hes not world famous like its some assassination attempt.

What a tragedy. DJ Mehdi was a bit of an inspiration to me (love his 'Lucky Boy' album). He will be missed.

RIP

Massive inspiration to me as well. Genuinely one of the best DJ's I'd ever seen, really got me back into house/electro after seeing him play after a Chromeo gig. Blew me away.

Som great productions as well, Pocket Piano still gives me goosebumps. RIP.

Awful news. Still can't believe it. Only the other day I saw him and Riton doing their Carte Blanche thing together and just last week they were interviewed on Annie Mac's show on Radio 1 (UK) ...sounds like they had such a good summer touring. RIP.

Apparently, the roof caved and everybody but one guy fell in. He received a fatal wound, and everybody else was wounded but nothing too serious. Again though, that's what I heard.

Either way - RIP.

EDIT:

Apparently he was on a mezzanine that collapsed, though it's unclear what type it was.

That'd be Riton, also signed to Ed Banger yeh. He's the other half of Mehdi's Carte Blanche project that he's been doing this year.
