Photon X25

Currently looking for an uncomplicated/ uncluttered MIDI controller and am wondering if anyone here has had the oppurtunity to try out the Photon X25 from Alesis or if there is another controller within the same price range $200 US which is better.

ps I had the ReMOTE25 from Novation (It died, recently and is costly to repair), hence I am only looking doe something in the $200.
