Hi everyone,
I have a feeling the following bug has been around for a while. If it is not a bug, can someone explain why it is a feature? : ) I discovered this working with a client over Skype.
He uses Live to perform using only Arrangment View.
• MIDI Track with Kontakt --> Looper
• Audio Track with Audio From set to output of Looper Track.
• Rec Arm Audio Track
• Record Arm Looper Track to get MIDI into Kontakt
• Arm Global Record, Play
• Record into Looper
• Turn off Rec Arm on Looper Track
• Looper Audio Stops.
There are good reasons for each of these step due to other things going on in the project, and yes here are work arounds.
But, is Looper supposed to stop outputting audio in this situation?
Happens on OS X and Windows. Live 8.2.6.
