Panel on left is free-standing...slides to the right behind my desk to allow easy exit thru the door to the garden.
Note to self: hiding the some of wires and a maybe little polish wouldn't go a miss...
Sounds vastly different, not fully dead which is what I wanted and nothing like it did before. Needed to justify the cost of the KRK's!
The only real cost (apart from time) was the Rockwool at £25 for 5 x 100m thick (1200x600) slabs. Wood was from old racking at work.Yards of black material from Freecycle. Base for free-standing panel is in fact the end of an old door that was cut off my new 'desk'...and the shelving is made from left overs from recent kitchen refurbishment.
Lava lamps next...
Wow... lots of work gone into that reno. How did you come to all the decisions about panels etc in the end? I remember a thread of yours showing the plan view of the conservatory you were converting... did you ever write down the details/conclusions?
Looks good

Went for logical approach; corner traps, side absorbers, ceiling cloud and what you can see in the photo. No real need for corner traps there as the large bay windows got quite an obtuse angle to it.

How's the placement of the keyboard working out for you? Can you actually play it when it's that far back/high up? That's been my main concern; actually being able to reach all my controllers AND my mouse and computer keyboard without having to bring a change of clothes and lunch

lol @ playing it!!
I can reach easy enough to 'play' bass/lead lines, tweak knobs/faders etc.. but pretty sure its not that good a position for playing anything seriously!

hehe. I call it the Juno 2012 'end of the world synth'
Built it out of two dying Juno's

The Juno is fine but I though why not have a Juno where you didn't have to rely on the chorus to make it sound big. Slightly detuned oscillators make for some of my favourite sounds so I made this.

Haha, that's great. You have your own unique instrument! I've got a Juno 60 which I love, but unfortunately it has a few issues. A pity I am across the pond from you or I'd hit you up to have a look at her.

my second synth ever was a Juno 6 which is the 60 minus the program memory. What sort of issues is your 60 having?
