Damn man! Tell me how you success in writing music in 10 tracks? I found myself about 70-80 is not enough!

Can you really not see how it's possible to produce a solid song with 10 tracks or less?

*shrugs* Different strokes. 80 tracks for one song would send me to the nuthouse.

No one ever said bad things don't happen to good people. It must suck to be you. Live's super stable over here on the west coast in the Pacific Northwest in Seattle in Washington State in the United States. I'm not sure how things are in your part of the world.

Good luck

wtf, do you use one channel per note or something? or do you record a choir with one mic per singer?

bass + guitar + vox + back vox, that leaves 6 channels for drum mics (not saying that's all you need to write a track, but it would be perfectly realistic that someone would only need 10)

I don't know
I'm layering a lot...

There are 83 tracks in this tune for example

I'm guessing you are using multiple channels for the same part with layered sounds/fx, I find it's easier to manage with racks in Live (acting as parallel channels within one channel)

For your situtation I think it's more of a workflow thing and you like to have lots of channels because it's nice to see it all in the arrangement.

Yeah :)
For sure it depends on the genre of music
but in my case i think its doubt to make it in less than 10 tracks when even on drums it takes even more...loop cutting, clap layering, percs etc

Yeah using MIDI to trigger all samples at once is a great idea, mate
But i found it more stable to work with audio..And as a big fan of audio i usualy flatten all my sounds for work
And groups saves some screenspace for sure! :)
