Hi I am interested in getting a vocal mic for home studio. Mostly making techno related music so will probably pitch shift or vocode vocals/speak mostly. Can anyone recommend the SE X1. It gets advertised a lot in future music. How about the RODE NT1A or 2A. I don't want to spend heaps but it needs to be good enough for professional recording (at home). Also how important is the reflexion filter?
Thanks

I own several sE mics. ; great value and quality. I use the se2200a for all my vocals and amp recording.

Thanks to both of you for replying. They all sound like good microphones
On another point. Its amazing I can get a RODE mic on amazon in the USA substancially cheaper than I can here in Australia where they are made. Seems crazy to ship to USA and then buy back cheaper.
