Realtime detuning on audio track
Realtime detuning on audio track
Hi,
How can I detune the incoming audio signal from my synth's without first recording it live ?

Grain delay.
Set Mix to full wet, delay time to 1ms, zero feedback. Now use the pitch control.

Thanks for your trick, it certainly "works", but the sound is kinda grainy, as you'd expect from a 'grain' delay
Any more thoughts ?

Re: Realtime detuning on audio track
you could use a free pitch shifting plugin, but that also creates artifacts. Can't you simply detune the oscillators on your synth?
Re: Realtime detuning on audio track
Artifacts won't be a really big problem, just want to detune about 30 to 40% of a semitone.
I'd like to detune the oscilators, except it has only one (It's my roland @juno)
So I wanted to stack up some audio channels with the same input and detune them in live.
So please direct me to a vst detuner, free if possible.
I have the mda one, and I love the packet, but just that one seems to have a bug which makes it useless.
The 3 presets work, but changing the parameters won't do anything, so I'm stuck with that one.
What are other options ?
