Huge latencys problem, plz help!

Howdy all, am new here on the forums and on ableton live.

Am having some serious issues with ableton plug in...


Am using albeton live 8.something and Massive.


Massive sounds epic(like it should) when i run it alone BUT when i run it with ableton live...it distorts/clips/delays/hicups the sounds and makes it useless for me to record the sound...

Am a pc user with windows XP/vista. And i have 4GB Ram, what can i do to fix this?

Will i have the same problem if i Rewire Reason to Ableton?


My plan is to use Ableton for Live and use Reason/Massive for produce but this lagg its wrecking my stuff

Like i said before, if i run Massive and Reason at same time , they work both fine and my drivers are updated.


I would like a free solution for my problem

You can always try opening a support request with Ableton - their tech support is usually helpful.

Otherwise, make sure your driver mode is set to ASIO rather than MME or DirectSound

You may have solved the problem i have it on MME.
The signal was screwed up also on live built in stuff.
