Very happy isotonik user here. Just adds so much flexibility to my live set.
What kind of updates do are you planning for the modular series? For instance, u mentioned follow is next. What can we expect in this update?

Much of the updating will be to streamline the coding and auto initialisation which means it becomes a drag and drop affair...

Want to make each easier to modulate and control, Follow itself has a pretty full feature set so it's more a case of tidying it up, I have had a request though to make the Follow action choice midi mappable so I'll be looking at achieving at!

Added a smoothing function to the value output...

The ability to clear a mapping previously saved...

And fine control over the Smart Graphs with a zoom control for each individual graph.... Clicking on the input and output values and dragging or typing sets the values exactly...

Picked up Modular yesterday and what a great project Darren, keep up the Great Work! I can't believe what a compliment to Oktop4d that Modular is . . .took your advice and messed with Follow (Modular) at the same time with Looper (Oktop4d) and was amazed how EASY it made things!

Happy Holidays

A new device for all the Modular Series subscribers... Shuffler 2.0.0

Image

It slices incoming audio into 8 slices, you choose whether it works on a one or two bar basis, and then allows each of these slices to be rearranged into any order on the fly...

Each slice can also be cut down into smaller divisions for glitchy style effects, an furthermore can be reversed or muted...

Heres a short demo video, set up is simple, it sits on an audio track and all the controls can be midi mapped...

After being featured on createdigitalmusic.com our latest device to get the remix is Slicer....

Image

Now fixed up to allow it to be modulated by clip envelopes if you'd like, it also records it's actions to arrange mode...

It can be directly midi mapped (use buttons that send cc rather than notes to be able to choose between momentary and toggle behaviour) and can also be mapped to a control surface, which now retains it's settings when you open your set....

With the Solo functionality you can map multiple devices to the same midi controls and only effect the device that is currently in focus, i've got all the controls mapped to my nanokontrol and it works like a dream....

The latest incarnation of our most popular device is Follow 3.0.1

Image

It sits on any audio (theres a MIDI version too) track and performs a follow action of your choice at clip end, it can also perform the same action at clip stop (which allows you to jump back to a reset dummy clip and simply set up momentary Beat Repeats an similar)

There are a number of extra functions over standard Follow Actions including a time from start in hours minutes and seconds and the ability to perform Scene Follow Actions as well as Clip ones....

You can set and forget the action chosen or draw into a clip individually a clip envelope to choose the action...

Why is a follow action at clip end better than standard follow actions? Well if you set a loop you don't have to worry that the next clip will trigger too early, if only there was powerful on the fly looping functionality (i'm being ironic but our Looper device which does exactly this is the next up for a refresh!)

Follow 3.0.1 does not work for me no matter what I try. Read the manual, it's not helping me trouble shoot at all.

Anyone have similar problem and figure out what to do? I'm on Mac, 10.6.8, most recent Ableton Live and Max For Live installed.

Thanks....
