Creating custom skins for Live

Anybody know if there's a user-friendly way to create custom skins for live?

I see lots of custom ones out there already, but there's always some piece of it I wish I could tweak

Is there an editor out there somewhere? I've tried opening them up in various text editing programs, and it doesn't have any rhyme or reason that I can figure out

Yeah, the Live tends to get unbearably ugly

Well there are very few skins that are usable, I really would like a black/gray skin that is more easy ion the eyes that the white/gray default one.

ALl the ones on the site have shorcomings

But there are one or two that are quite good, but not black ones.

i like the one called BlackLight for late nite sessions...turn the brightnesss way down on your screen too

I was disappointed to discover that the color of the Outline Brackets or Current Position Marker  in the Overview areas cannot be changed

IMHO I think there are a couple of the dark themes that would leap in usability if these markers could be made yellow or red.  

It may have been Live6 when I tried this last though.

in logic, when u choose a dark color for your scribble it makes the text white so u can see it- i noticed that doesn't happen in live, text is always black......is there a way around it that u guys know of?

Just a heads up, the Skin Editor works with Snow Leopard but not in Lion as of yet.
