any timestretch algos out there better than live?

anyone know if there is a better timestretch algo than whats currently offered in live, im talking about "pro" . i still feel like there are a lot of artifacts in the sound with this applied

"Pro" mode is licensed from a third party that developed the algorithm (don't remember who.) it's the same algorithm that's used in other DAWs like Logic. IIRC Logic uses the same algorithm. I heard this at an Ableton sponsored event.

maybe give it some more time to get used to it. yes, it can sound really weird, but it can sound good.

The timestretch in Reason/Record is incredible. Not as flexible as Live (it doesn't do warp markets, etc.) but it sounds pretty flawless IMO.

Offline proccessing sound better. Live's is realtime stretch because it's 'Live'.
