DMG Audio EQuick makes Live unresponsive?
Bought it the other day, just because i want more out of an EQ than what EQ8 have to offer. It sounds GREAT and its nice to have more steepness to choose from, etc. However, Live gets very laggy, and unresponsive when using it. Anyone else experiencing this, or just me?
Mailed DMG Audio about it, but no reply yet. Guess i wont be getting my money back either, so if no fix is planned i guess im forced to try and sell it.

Re: DMG Audio EQuick makes Live unresponsive?
yea i tried the demo and really liked it, but weird things happened with Live when using it and it was pretty buggy, so i passed up on it.
it just got an update at start of this month though - is it no better?
if you don't hear from the dev, you can pester him on the latest DMG Audio KVR thread (he's Dave Gamble):

Re: DMG Audio EQuick makes Live unresponsive?
I guess i have to blame myself for not demoing it before buy.
I did demo it like 6 months ago or so, or rather i demoed the EQuality which i found sounded teh awesome. So, i knew the sound already and didnt think i needed to demo again.
Guess i was wrong!
Tested it in Logic too btw, and acting pretty similar in the lagging etc.
Thanks, ill spam around in there if he doesn't reply.

Re: DMG Audio EQuick makes Live unresponsive?
Tried the demo of equality and it consistently crashed Live and Logic for me so I nuked it. Shame as I heard good things about it!
Re: DMG Audio EQuick makes Live unresponsive?
I tried DMG Audio Equality and Equick this weekend and they both work perfectly in Live 8.2.8
Re: DMG Audio EQuick makes Live unresponsive?
I use equality daily for hours on end in live and logic and never had any issues. Weird that equick is different in this regard for some people.

... I also don't seem to have any problems. But I haven't updated for a while.
I only use it in Live btw. I think the standard EQ's in Logic are pretty transparent already.
