No love for the new Livid CNTRL:R?
Nobody feel in this?

Bus powered. Could be a nice partner for a Launchpad.
I would have liked a cross fader, but could live without one.
I presume it will be expensive. Seems to be high quality though.

Yeah, but YOU posted in a better spot. The M4L forum has WAY less activity for this stuff.
So YEAH, I am totally diggin this CNTRL:R. Wish it had really drum pads, but I still want one. Not just because I am a gear hound, but this layout looks perfect for DrumRacks

Absolute sex.

The OHM64 woody was such a beauty and now this. It's a shame, but cheap and the features seem quite convincing
give a man fire and he will be warm for the night
set a man on fire and he will never freeze again

If there is by any chance a possibility to sync the 4x4 matrix in the center to my session view and scroll it up and down like i can with my apc's fragging secret handshake, i have found the controller i am looking for since i bought the apc.
- No tablet, but haptic feedback
- 3 rotary encoders in a row for EQs
- 24 rotary encoders for fx parameters or else (the apc's auto assign is nice but gets nasty if you have to control different parameters in different tracks)
- 8 faders for line, cross, fx, send/return or whatever
- 16 buttons in-a-row stepsequencer for my MBase kickdrum
- another 16 buttons to trigger fx dummy clips
- and i can assign different colors to each effect/function for save navigation when i'm stoned in the club
Great work, looking forward to get my hands on this machine, hell yeah!

Yeah thats totally doable. If it doesn't come that way already, somebody will make a script that will fer sure.noland wrote:If there is by any chance a possibility to sync the 4x4 matrix
I was thinking about setting it up like this
1. Hit one of the pads, ALL knobs control parameters for that sound.
2. Faders for volume
3. top row of 16, are for Modes shift functions, and navigation etc, i.e. moving around in session, selecting banks on FX on sends for the knobs, toggling the pads from drums to session box.
4. bottom row for sequences.
Re: No love for the new Livid CNTRL:R?
Hope so. If not its "just" a very good drum rack controller.JuanSOLO wrote:Yeah thats totally doable. If it doesn't come that way already, somebody will make a script that will fer sure.noland wrote:If there is by any chance a possibility to sync the 4x4 matrix
The XPC and Builder extension even compensates for losing my footswitch (No plugs for that one)

The max for live sequencer looks great as well, it's definately on my buy list although the girlfriend just went through the expenses and I pretty much have to decide on coffee, alcohol, going out or synths, plugins & controllers

Why on earth do they use those fader heads on a midi mix instrument like this? It needs thin fader head grips like Pioneer mixers, Akai controllers, and other standardised musical live-mixing equipment. Livid: replace a normal cross-fade grip with those, and you quickly get my point. Its like playing the guitar with thick glows!condra wrote:Nobody feel in this?

Imagine the APC triggers being replacable with knobs. I would love that.
