He's mixing Katy Perry and he's worried about his DAW sounding bad????

The mind boggles!

...or maybe, just maybe, being a succesful musician doesn't neccesarily make you an authority on objective (dare I say scientific) comparisons of audio quality between daws.
Maybe they simply don't like the sound of the plugins, or the workflow, and their ears haven't been magically shielded from placebo effects or endorsments by other companies. Maybe they feel they simply need to validate their choices, or feel like they need to voice an opinion when doing an interview. In the end they are just as human as any one of us.

I'm sure there are many, many professional and succesful musicians who, when asked, would claim to hear differences between DAW A and DAW B, cable A or cable B, mp3 and wav, analog and emulation, PC and MAC... and many would most probably fail any kind of proper blind test scenario.

They could be right, but just being a successful and talented musician doesn't make it neccesarily so.

Anyway, I prefer Katy Perry's song produced by VEE to repetitive boring song composed by noobs.

It's too late man, you can only hope it derails into something more fulfilling, like modding twinkie recipes.

Actually watching that may be a double form of terrorism. Being subjected to the video itself and a recipe to the real WMD's.
I've never felt more american than now.

if you were 13 years old, flat chested, and recently shocked that you found blood "down there" you'd know.
