This might not be Live 9 , BUT I'm sure Ableton will come out with loads of cash and buy them.

I think there is an underlying factor that is being missed here!

If Ableton Live was really rocking i.e. it was solid, reliable and didn't crash. They put in place some of the features that users have been requesting for years! And it wasn't so bloody expensive in todays DAW environment. Then I would suggest that people wouldn't really be that bothered.

My excitement come from the 'possibility' that the above issues may have been addressed in BitWig.

If I thought the Abes would have this sorted for Live 9 and it was due on the horizon then I would be happy as Larry with Live.

Just my bit :)

Hey everyone - as much as I too love GIFs, let's keep this civil. No need to go insulting each other's music.

...yes indeed, may be Ableton has just outsourced its Marketing-department for a while.
or, to put it into other words: may be they shifted from clever software to clever marketing.... h.s.q.m.y.p 8)

Yes, lets get back to summing busses and rumors please.

I hear Bitwig's summing bus was made in conjunction with 3Phase and contains licensed 3PhaseTron™ technology. 3PhaseTron™ eliminates the mud and other horrible sounding side effects which are introduced into the final audio output of a certain popular grid based DAW.

That's because bitwig has a 128 bit analog summing engine.
