I have a few tracks in arrangement view. One or two have automation for Mixer - Track Volume. I have a new track that needs to rise above all others briefly, but I'm a bit too hot all around and so would like to turn down the volume for all tracks. I know that if you select all tracks in session view and lower the volume for one, they all go down at the same time. However, the tracks with automation volume do not--I have to turn them down separately in arrangement view.
Is there any way to turn down the volume for all tracks while keeping the automation volume intact (although lower)?
Lower all tracks' volume with some volume automation

Put a utility on each track and adjust them all the same amount........
Re: Lower all tracks' volume with some volume automation
Thanks, but, if I understand you correctly, that would be more work than what I'm doing now. I currently select all tracks in session view, drag one volume down, then go back to each track with volume automation, select all automation points and drag the entire automation down. I think what you're proposing is to add a Utility to all tracks and turn down the volume on each and every individual track. Is there a way to link the Utility on all tracks so that I only have to adjust the volume once, for all tracks? I've never used the Utility.

You can midi map the gain control of each utility to the same knob on your controller keyboard.
This means that you can adjust all the gains at the same time.
It's probably better to delete all your fader automation and use the faders as normal.
You can then use fader automation for fine tuning.
Try it, it's simpler than it sounds.
Another way would be to group the tracks you want to adjust and use the group fader.

Can't you just put a utility on the master channel and automate that?
