I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Bill recently, and not only that, he has personally helped me out with a lot of mixing advice and so on. Although I've seen some nice tutorials on the internet, nobody is giving away as much great advice as Mr. Bill. He is a truly generous person that is absolutely dedicated to improving his own craft and helping other people improve theirs. If this electronic music industry was filled with more people like Mr. Bill, electronic music as a whole would have advanced even further than it has in recent years. Mr. Bill's tutorials are amazing. He finds ways of achieving things with Ableton that other people wouldn't even think of. He treats Ableton like a blank canvas from which you are only limited by your imagination.

Seriously, if you haven't checked out Mr. Bill's tutorials, you've got to do it. It doesn't matter what genre you work in, Mr. Bill has got loads of stuff you will be interested in. If you like his tutorial's, book in an online session with him. It is well worth it. Plus his music kicks ass as well.

Also, he will be touring in the states soon so check out a gig in your town if you live in the US.

Why do we never see anything related to a martial percussion tutorial? Something with lots of snare progressions, some timpani, low tom/bass drum along with cymbals/crash/china.....? I've got NI K8, Live 8 Suite, prior NI K* products, and a couple live partner instrument stuff among other things. I do need to get out of my rut and get working on stuff....build up some stems or whatnot but...Always seems dubstep or house or psytrance appear being the big hot thing on this forum....

[edit]: Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of good tutorials, some free, some cheap, some not so cheap. I think I have 2 or 3 of Nicks (Operator is one but haven't sat down with it after all this time lolz, I know, slacking!). Kudos to all who contribute (free or non-free) as it takes time to put something viewable together.

And I am subscribed I think to abletondaily at Youtube as well as I think the official Ableton channel plus a couple others (Native Instruments, Korg).

We a have a bunch of great new tutorials on the site... New Gigi Barocco one is great.

also have a great walkthrough of James Lavelle and Charlie Mays Remix of Lana del Ray Ride Coming shortly.

Charlie May was such an inspirational guy to chat to. Have been a huge fan of his for a long time.
