Sweet, and I can't check it out yet either :x

I think that counts as a green light that mainstream cRap will follow suit for 2012 (what 2 or 3 artists that are dominating radio and whatever channel that shows music videos these days (if there is one, since we have Vevo now)

I saw Cypress Hill touring their first album. It was at the Spotatorium in Dallas opening for the Beastie Boys. One of the most memorable shows ever.

Not a rusko/cypress fan though. :?

Damn dude, that must've been around 86-87? So were beasties touring for Boutique? Awesome.
I saw Cypress at the 1st or 2nd Palooza when Sonic Youth ,Beck, and Jesus Lizard were there. They had a big inflatable gold Buddha and a couple plants on each side.

No, it was more like 92 or 93. Beasties were touring for Check Your Head. I had owned a Cypress Hill cassette for about a year, but they were pretty much unkown at the time. I think Cypress Hill released their second Album almost months after that show.

Then they toured with House of Pain, then Lola. That Lola show killed it, fucking Cypress Hill, Sonic Youth, Beastie Boys etc...so many good memories there.

When Cypress Hill toured with House of Pain, they were at the Bomb Factory in Dallas. I think EVERY person there was smoking pot at once. It was like being in a cloud. I remember going to the bar and passing about 6-8 cops just standing there watching. They looked like they were having fun, but really what could they do, arrest everybody? It was comical to say the least.

DJ Muggs Beats are pure gold. Temple of Boom is still one of my favorite records and has a permanent reservation for my mp3 player.
