DJ Drops and Sound fx's

Post by @andrusteel » Fri Jan 27, 2012 7:56 pm

For all the Dj's using Ableton for gig’s what are you using to play your drops and sound fx's?

I just started using ableton to make my mix cds and podcast. I use to use serato and in serato I had the sp-6 sample play but I not sure what I can use in ableton. Anyone have any suggestions?

All you need for triggering samples is an Audio Track in your session view. Fill each Clipslot with one-shots, loops or whatever and assign buttons, pads or keys to trigger them. Controllers like APC, monome or launchpads do not need to be assigned, They gice you more flexibility.

hope thats what you were asking for
give a man fire and he will be warm for the night
set a man on fire and he will never freeze again

Okay that sounds good thanks. Is there away to set the clips so that when I trigger a clip in the same audio track it dosen't stop the previous one from playing?
