Old projects wont't open on my new Macbook

Hi, i have a problem. i installed ableton 7 from the ableton website (newest update) on both my Imac and my macbook but for some reason i cant open the projects from my imac on my macbookpro

Im running snow leopard on my imac and Lion on my macbook pro. i keep getting these messages like There is not enough memory available and this project was made on a newer and more incompatible version of live wich is totally nonsense ofcourse.


what should i do ? i bought this computer so i could make music everywhere but now it seems im stuck once egain to making it at home on my imac only.
